Resilient Futures Investment Roundtable
INVESTMENT FOR A BETTER TODAY AND A RESILIENT, CLIMATE ADAPTED FUTURE
Our Mission
INCREASED INVESTMENT IN RESILIENCE-BUILDING PROJECTS TO PROTECT VULNERABLE AUSTRALIAN COMMUNITIES AND ALLOW THEM TO THRIVE IN AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE
The Resilient Futures Investment Roundtable is a space for leaders and practitioners from private, public, research and not-for-profit organisations to come together to share knowledge, experience and expertise to improve the way decisions are made about resilience investment by:
Building capacity and capability
Working collaboratively
Providing a forum to share knowledge and work together on the shared challenge of investing in resilience and climate change adaptation.
Developing Resources
Identifying, sharing and developing the knowledge and tools needed to make better resilience investment decisions.
There is a growing urgency to adapt and build resilience to climate change in Australia.
Our communities are already experiencing more frequent and severe disasters. This our new normal, which will persist over the coming decades, even with decisive global action to reduce emissions.
Efforts made to build resilience are opportunities to innovate, spur economic growth, protect and strengthen the health and biodiversity of our ecosystems and build stronger, more connected and healthier communities.

Who we are
The Resilient Futures Investment Roundtable is a group of private, public, research and not-for-profit organisations collaborating to improve the way that the costs and benefits of resilience are valued to create better public and private resilience investment decisions. Our work evolved from the research of the Australian Business Roundtable for Disaster Resilience and Safer Communities.
